How do I book a treatment?

We use a booking app called Fresha, there you will find all locations, available appointments, pricing, service menu and products. Click the 'Book Online' section at the top of the website to be redirected to the booking system.  

Once booking has been made, a confirmation email with time of appointment, location address and information will be sent via email. 

Can I book a consultation?

Yes, it's really recommended to book one of our complimentary consultations. This gives us a chance to meet and discuss any of your questions. It's a perfect chance to get a professional advice on what treatment is best suited to you are your desired outcomes. Each consultation is completely non obligatory and free. 

If booking for brows, this sis where we talk about different treatments and the chance to patch test the product on you, as well as fill in any consultation forms. 

With aesthetics, htis gives us both a thorough understanding of the treatment, answer any questions you my have, assess suitability for the treatment and assess your medical forms. If booking for any anti wrinkle treatments, a consultation is MANDATORY, due to the requirement of a prescription. 

I'm scared of thing's going wrong?

I understand the fear of having any aesthetic treatment might be off putting, Melissa is fully qualified and confident in all the treatments, fully insured, and complication trained. With refreshing her complications training every 6 months. IF anything was to arise, Melissa is fully confident in dealing with complications. This can come in with the importance of consultations, that way we can adapt the appointment to your fears and put your mind at ease with answering any questions. 

How can I pay?

You can pay via cash, card machine (apple pay), bank transfer, through secure link or it can be taken via the booking system. 

Can I bring my children?

As a mother myself, I am fully aware how tight childcare can be and things can happen. You are more than welcome to bring your child to the salon if needed. However this can only be for brow treatments. I am not insured on aesthetics if children are present at the clinic. IF your child is brought to the clinic for any aesthetic treatments, your appointment will have to be cancelled and you will be charged. Please ensure your child can sit comfortably and can be behave well in these settings.

What's the cancellation / rescheduling policy?

Please notify Shaw Aesthetics of any cancellations or rescheduling 48 hours prior to your appointment. If cancelling within 48 hours you will be automatically charged 50% of your appointment total. I fully understand things can happen, however most of the time I run on a strict back to back timetable. I will allow 10 minutes lee way on lateness. Any later and your appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled. If this happens, you will be automatically charged and a new appointment may be needed. Please inform Melissa 07872444574 if you're running late. Please leave substantial time to account for any traffic and parking.

I'm sure you can appreciate no shows are a loss of income and time, due to nature i'm unable to fill that slot. To compensate this, I have to be strict. If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, you will be automatically charged 100% of your appointment total. You may be required to pay your balance upfront via card machine, cash or bank transfer if you have a history of no showing the clinic.

Why do I need ID?

Aesthetic treatments are strictly over 18 years only. This is a legal requirement and will be adhered to. No treatment will be carried out if you are not able to provide sufficient identification, which can be either passport, license or anything the GOV website deems applicable. For any other treatments, ie brows. the minimum age requirement is 16. If coming for a brow treatment at 16. The client will need parental confirmation at the time of consultation.

What if i'm not fully happy?

If you're not satisfied with a treatment, or have any concerns or questions, I ask you to please contact Shaw Aesthetics within 7 days of your treatment. Unless in case of emergency, please notify the clinic immediately. Having the client leave the clinic feeling happy with their results is my number one goal. If you are happy with your treatment, I'd love it if you could leave a positive review, as a small business this goes a long way.

I have a gift card to use.

Refunds are not available for gift vouchers. Gift vouchers are not exchangeable for cash value. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers are redeemable only against products and services as stated on the voucher, any remaining value on a git card, will be carried over in credit to use against any further treatments or products and will need to be redeemed within the 12 months. Please be advised that all aesthetic treatments are for over the age of 18. If buying a gift card on behalf of someone else, please ensure the client is above the legal age. Gift cards are not eligible for payment plans and must be paid in full via bank transfer, cash or card machine.
